Fabulous example of the very popular 1930s embossed salad ware. This one features a yellow basket weave design, with pretty pastel coloured hand painted Spring flowers.
A really lovely set although there is a fair amount of crazing to both pieces.
Backstamp reads: 'Carlton Ware Made in England Trademark Registered Australian Design Registration Applied For' and there is the pattern no. 1913 stamped into the pottery.
