This is a pair of side plates, in the Dresden Spray design.
Please note they are not exactly the same. One measures 7” and one is very slightly smaller, and the green is slightly different.
Cooper originally designed this for Harry Wood of Wood & Sons, but as he thought the design was too difficult to reproduce, she decided to go ahead and produce it herself. It ended up being one of her best selling patterns.
They were produced between 1935 and 1942.
The background is a lovely rich cream, with a green band, and pastel floral design to the centre.
Please note there is some crazing. I have photographed the worst, so please do take a good look at the close up photos. Also there is some wear to the green - again, see photos.
