Striking black and cream pottery lidded tankard from Sarawak, Borneo, Malaysia.

This is a fantastic piece, in excellent condition. It stands approx 22 cm high with the lid

It is glazed black with a striking geometric tribal pattern carved out from it, revealing the clay beneath. 

A really good example of this type of regional pottery.
