This set is a twin tone, made in the very popular Streamline design, which was made from around 1940s to the early 80s, with minor tweaks here and there - you can find different shaped knobs on teapots and preserve jars, and a variety of patterns in the china. The overall shape remained the same, with its angular, minimalist lines.
The ice green and seagull colourway was one of the original colour combos. It has a soft glaze that is very tactile, and the mottled grey effect is beautiful.
THIS LISTING IS FOR 4 CUPS AND SAUCERS.
The diameter at top of cup is approx 9cm and they are approx 5.8cm high. The saucer diameter is approx 15cm.
The colour is beautiful- A lovely aqua blue/green.
It still looks clean and fresh today.
Please note there is damage to 2 of the saucers - one has a chip and some staining, and another has staining.
