This set is a twin tone, made in the very popular Streamline design, which was made from around 1940s to the early 80s, with minor tweaks here and there - you can find different shaped knobs on teapots and preserve jars, and a variety of patterns in the china. The overall shape remained the same, with its angular, minimalist lines.
Poole Pottery produced its Twintone Sky Blue and Dove Grey colourway between 1950 and 1956. This elegant combination was part of the Twintone range, which featured simple, two-tone designs in muted pastel shades. These pieces remain highly collectible today.
This listing is for a milk jug and sugar bowl. I do also have some cups and saucers for sale in the same colourway.
Dimensions: Sugar bowl - approx 6 cm high and 10 cm in diameter. Jug - approx 11 cm high.
These still look clean and fresh, with no crazing, chips or cracks.
