Pretty Pink Glass Ruffled Edge Cake Stand With Metal Base. Vintage. 40s/50s?

A lovely piece, the glass has a gorgeous ruffled edge. Some of the glass is opaque, some clear.

It has a footed stand, made of metal, perhaps tin or aluminium.
