Grindley Peach Petal set of 6 soup coupe bowls and saucers. Perfect for strawberries and cream.

• These Petalware bowls date from the 1950s.
• They feature a utility styling that was introduced during the war years and remained popular into the 1950s.
• Their attractive shape and lovely pastel colours make them very popular and collectable.
• Although these were designed for soup, I think they would be perfect in the summer for strawberries and cream, of for starters such as prawn cocktail.
• The colour is a soft salmon pink, more than the peach that the name suggests. The first 2 photos are the most accurate colour-wise.
• Please note there is wear to them such as scratches, discolouration and crazing. I have tried to photograph the worst.
