This is a beautiful set of 1950s spotty plates. They are a cream ceramic, with red border topped with hand painted white polka dots.
Designed by Jessie Tait for Midwinter pottery c1953.
Great vintage retro style.
Please note there are signs of wear in the form of surface scratches, a chip, and one has significant crazing (see photos)
They measure just under 8” (20cm) in diameter. Great for use as a dessert, salad, or starter plate.
