This antique teapot dates back to the 1920s. (The backstamp puts it as 1917 onwards).
It was a patented design that features an integral tea strainer, and it was guaranteed to be 'non-drip'.
Its distinctive shape makes it very collectible, and it was produced with various patterns on it, this one being 'English Scenery'.
Please note there is damage to this. The spout is chipped, as it the handle to the strainer, and the rim has a chip and a repair.
Its stands approx 17.5 cm high and holds 1.5 pints
